Flange nut, also known as with pad nut, flower nut, hex flange nut, flange nut and so on. Mostly used on pipes that are connected or that require additional nut contact surfaces. Main materials are carbon steel and stainless steel.
How the flange nut works
Flange nuts and general hex nuts are basically the same size and thread size, except that they are one-piece gaskets and nuts compared to hex nuts, and have anti-slip thread on the underside, which increases the nut and workpiece. The surface area contact is stronger and more powerful than the combination of a normal nut and washer.
Generally, the flange nut specifications are generally below M20. Because most flange nuts are used on pipes and flanges, they are constrained by the workpiece. The flange nut specifications are less than those of the nut. Some of the flange nuts above M20 are mostly flat flanges, that is, there are no tooth marks on the flange surface. Most of these nuts are used in some special equipment and special places, and the general sales manufacturers are not in stock.
